Folksy finds food

Here is this week's taster (geddit?! sorry, I'm really tired...) from Folksy. Everything is food inspired! It took two nights to compile the list (with Folksy crashing last night), but we got there in the end!

I'll start with a bunch of funky, foody brooches... I wish I had the bravado to wear these outside the house!

Contender for the coolest brooch in the world! I love this beans on toast brooch from Pippin.

I may not like mushrooms in real life but it's impossible not to like this mushroom brooch from Kate Broughton.

How realistic is this yummy looking Turkish delight in brooch form from Handmade with Amour?!

The things that people can make with felt are amazing! Here is a boiled egg and toast soldiers from British Cream Tea. Check out that beautiful stitching! It's worth checking out her full shop too, full of felty food stuff!

Lupin's felt fancy pincushion looks delicious, I'm seriously tempted by it... Not entirely convinced it wouldn't end in A&E after a toddler felt / pin ingestion session though! Again, check out her full shop for more foody felty delights!

Another toddler A&E trip would be necessitated by these delectable cupcake candles from Purple Sparkle Crafts. I can't believe the realistic foody candles in her shop!

I think even adults would be tricked by these soap truffles from SoapyChica... maybe an A&E trip for Steven?!

This sushi necklace from Venus Flytrap Jewels is a real conversation piece and taps into the Japanese zeitgeist perfectly.

Pennydog has some beautiful resin jewellery. This kiwi fruit ring is made from polymer clay encased in resin and I'm wisting it! I don't have enough cool jewellery...

  1. I'm hungry now!! I keep looking at the french fancy pin cushion and thinking the same thing with my kids. Also I think everytime I saw it, I'd *need* cake. It is ace though.
