Note to self: don't quit your day job

I gave Maia's hair an Amish-esque makeover today :(

  1. nowt wrong with that haircut, much better than suffering a visit to a hairdresser with a tiny.

I stopped cutting my boys' hair after one of them moaned at length (with no sympathy from the evil mother) about how I was hurting hi.

then I noticed the trickle of blood from his ear...

twas only a little nick, but I still hear about it 20 years on!

  3. It's fine. I did a similar thing to Brodie's hair last week and it looked fine after I'd washed it.

  4. I did the same to the Moomin's fringe a few months ago - she wouldn't keep still!! Thankfully it's all grown out now (finally) and Mr Deravelled has declared that the next time she needs her hair cutting, it will be a professional hairdresser who does it!! :S
