New 'pillowcase' dresses

I hate the name 'pillowcase' dress. It sounds so gauche. But I've made some, and here they are:

  2. Thanks! Yes, for the (probably to be rained off) fair this weekend. I only had the froggy one and it looked a bit lonely, so made the others to keep it company ;)

  3. Love the one with butterflies and pink polka dots. Good luck this weekend. Hope you do so much business you wear holes in your super-duper money belt.

  4. Fabuluous as always. I'm always so surprised you get so many lovely days where you are to take outdoor photos! It's just those cursed fair weekends! What is that lovely butterfly print, my daughter is swooning!

  6. They are lovely (and I hate "pillowcase dress" which is why I've never made one...)

  7. @nicky: Thanks, I don't have high hopes with 95% chance of rain on both days :(

@kat: It's an optical illusion! It's cold, and sometimes I photograph super quick in light rain, or a five minute gap between rain :) Husband goes nuts that I photo Maia in skimpy things when it's cold...

The fabric is one of Robert Kaufman's Carnaby Street range from last summer :)

  8. @Sew Scrumptious: I was up to 1:30AM last night making these... And please make a road trip, I need the money :)

@Louiz: Yeah, I really hate the name. I'm almost embarrassed to call them pillowcase dresses :(
