your brother (brady) had it after his bout with H1N1 & was miserable, like razor blades in his throat. feel better, have some milkshakes or ice cream and get some rest !
Ach, major suckage. There's a spray thing called Difflam I think that numbs your throat - made Husby's recent bout almost tolerable (if he wasn't the worse patient in the world that is).
Sorry sweetie, it's really horrible isn't it? Hopefully you've got antibiotics by now but I heartily recommend the Difflam spray and co-codamol. I ate nothing but ice-cream for a week when I had it xx
Tonsilitis - always fatal in a 'I'm just off to bed for three days, bring me tea on an hourly basis, the telly owuld be good too and could you run the hoover round while you're at it' kind of way!!
oh no - hope you feel better soon - please don't die 'cause i've spent ages on your swap gift {not being selfish AT ALL}
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! Eat ice-cream, it's very soothing.
ReplyDeleteoh no, fatal tonsilitis, that's the worst kind that is!
ReplyDeleteOh ouch:(
ReplyDeleteJelly and porridge - it's soft and doesn't hurt.
I meant to say, but not at the same time though!
ReplyDeleteTonsilitis. I hope NEVER to experience it. Tell us, is it distinctly fatal as most fatal things we can imagine it to be?
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the Sleeping Lion in Luzern.
Feel better soon! x
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame...
ReplyDeleteTonsillitis is a b*tch.
ReplyDeleteHope its not quite as fatal as fatal.

ReplyDeleteHope yours is over swiftly.. :(
Tonsilitis is horrible. Had it last year so not always fatal!! Hope you on superstrength antibiotics and getting lots of TLC. x
ReplyDeleteI don't have tonsils, got 'em out as a kid. You'd think evolutionarily we'd stop growing them since they have no purpose except to get infected.
ReplyDeleteOh you poor thing....if the docs give you antibiotics please please take some acidophilus.
ReplyDeleteDr Vx
I'm glad you used your final moments to find such a beautiful picture of a stone lion :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get your roar back soon x

ReplyDeleteHello, I just want to say how much I love the pictures you post.
ReplyDeleteI like to use them as background on my PC at work. I've enjoyed having the poorly lion, and I now have mean pony.
Thanks!
