Anyone want to throw out some ideas of things to make with the more random ones? And what does everyone love the most?
I have no idea what you'd make with it but I want the purple itty bitty chair one. It is totally ace.
ReplyDeleteMy favourites are 2, 4 and 7 from the Randoms. I've no idea about kid clothes, but I would make dresses out of all them and wear with pride.
ReplyDeleteBecause, yes, I basically dress like an overgrown five year old. I have no shame.
I cannot see any of your lovelies! This is probably just my web browser so I will have to try back later.
ReplyDeleteOK, why can't I see ANY of the pictures? :|
ReplyDeleteNo!! I can't see them :(
ReplyDeleteI must be blind with envy, because I can't see the pictures either. That, or you've just bought lots of pieces of white fabric with a small red cross motif in the top left corner.
ReplyDeleteI'm soooo curious, because I am sure you have some gorgeous fabrics and I look forward to seeing them be turned into even more gorgeous garments, but alas, i can't see them either :(
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like a great pile. I love that. Piles of fabric. Not much that is better than that :-D
Who goes on vacation and doesn't buy fabric?! Freaks!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I like the randoms the best.
After F5ing about twenty gazillion times, I can seeeeeee! They're lovely. I think I like the rainy days best, perfect for a coat. You should make cushion covers from the Tufted Tweets ones, and I would make tunics and dresses out of everything else :) And I'm not quite as envious as last time you did a post like this, because I have 2m of willow shroom in cream nestled nicely in my stash :)
ReplyDeleteHave complete fabric envy. Loving the pink umbrella fabric. Perfect for a little girls coat. Also love all of the Japanese Kokka fabrics. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOooo - I am experiencing big time fabric envy! I heart the Alexander Henry Willow range a lot!
ReplyDeletelove gnomeland!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm viewing from my own computer I can see them. I reckon coats and dresses.
ReplyDeleteI think you should just send the toadstool house fabric to me :P
ReplyDeleteI love the Tufted Tweets...I couldn't cut into them though!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose, I love them all!
ReplyDeleteVery nice collection indeed :)
oooooh gorgeous! I love willow wren green for dd and helicopter orange for ds... though I probably shouldn't as I have just returned from Japan where I seem to have accumulated a stash of echino fabrics too...
ReplyDeleteany chance you could adopt me?????
ReplyDeleteI love the first collection and the rainy day ones! No idea what you'll make with them but they are all amazing.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for posting pics of the fabrics you bought! I've been searching for the right transportation themed fabric for my son's new "big boy" room, and the "Wheels" design is perfect! It's on back-order right now, but I'll be snatching some up as soon as it comes in. YAY!!! That fabric website is awesome as well... very inspiring stuff!
ReplyDeleteooooh total envy at your fabric p*rn!!! I love the itty bitty chair purple best - made into a tunic/dress would be fab (size 8 for me please!). However I have a problem - I am a novice sewer, so I find any nice fabric I have doesn't get cut for fear or messing it up, and the plainer/cheaper fabrics don't inspire me...any advice??
ReplyDeleteOh good grief...this has set off my fabric twitch that can only be halted by a purchase of fabric...
ReplyDeleteI would love the tufted tweeds stretched over a frame and hung on the wall as a pop art print.
