If I'm looking pretty pleased with myself here, I have good reason. After two late nights (late enough to be considered morning), the Big Girls' Skater Dress is finally done
and with testers! The moment we thought we'd never see.
I don't want you to perceive me a disloyalal to Scandi Flowers or anything, but when we're alone I whisper 'I love you most of all' to my Starlions. I prefer the lighter drape and the fabric is
so smooth it's almost liquid. Dreamy.
Wish all the testers luck and hopefully I'll have good news soon!
I really want to make this cute dress
ReplyDeleteLooks lush and the fabric is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHooray! The dress, and you in it, look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
Super cute! I love that fabric. And you totally rock it. Those shoes!
ReplyDeleteHow tall are you? Just curious how the skirt length will translate on me.
I'm somewhere between 5'4" and 5'5", but there are lengthen / shorten lines on both the bodice and skirt pieces :) And thank you!
DeleteI really like this version.
ReplyDeleteDo you have an idea of which sizes you're including? I am so crazy excited about this :)
ReplyDeleteIt depends on how the testing goes (ha!) but there are eight sizes at the moment. It's based on high bust and high waist measurements and ranges from 30"/24" to 44"/38".
DeleteIt really is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I agree on the fabric - I made my son a tee out of it and it is SO soft.
ReplyDeleteFrom the pastel muslin taken in the mirror to this beauty! It looks really great. Jo x
