These are Maia's new kicks. They're what I would consider 'acceptable pink', rather than bubblegum / candyfloss pink as she is wont. I bought them when she wasn't looking.
These are my new kicks. Not only are they the height of fashion and in no way the semblance of moonboots, but they have magical powers which will make me skinny. Every thing I do while wearing them is technically exercise. Ergo, I wore them to the pub with Friend Sarah on Friday. We were exercising.
Maia has impeccable taste - I have those but the main part of the shoe is the green and the tongue is the pink ;)
ReplyDeleteI have to ask are those fitness thingy shoes actually comfortable to wear?
Taz, they are ridiculously comfortable! Despite the fugliness, I wear them all the time. You do have to be careful on stairs though...
ReplyDeleteI adore the cons!
ReplyDeleteAre those YOUR little shoes? I thought they were your son's new shoes! (Of course I'm cruising around in size 10 boats, so congrats to you on your petite feet!)
ReplyDelete@TheMadHouse: Thanks very much, I like the sound of Taz's in the green a lot too...
ReplyDelete@Sister: My feet aren't tiny at all (size 8 US!) but the giganticness of the shoes somehow make them look tiny. Further proof they are magic.
I love Maia's cons, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of yours too, do you feel like they're working?
love Maia's cons! ... I have two pairs of cons one that are grey and tattered by my favourite and a black pair that pinch my toes a bit.. thought hey didnt when I tried them on so it makes my head exploded... for the record I am not a shoe person.. I probably only have about 8 pairs or less.. a few of those have been lost in the attic.
ReplyDeleteI want some fitnessy sketchers.
Fitness and a better life through new shoes. Sounds convincing to me. *goes off to try to apply the same argument to amazon shopping...*
ReplyDeleteLovely footwear. Let us know how effective the fitness shoes are in the long term! Also how are they on your leg joints, especially hips (I have a dodgy hip and no longer wear heels because it sets my hip ouchy, so now I wonder about all footwear).
ReplyDeleteI bet they're safer to wear on stairs than what I did today - feet wrapped in clingfilm! Don't ask!!
