Folksy finds red

I'm pretty tired of all this grey and dreich winter weather so I thought I'd do this week's Folksy finds on splashes of vibrant red.

This sophisticated Red & Grey cowl by Amanda Sainsbury is the perfect antidote to dreary winter weather.

I've been seriously wisting this Pink and red jingle jangle ring by Ali Bali Jewellery. Not only is it stunning and detailed, but it jingles as well... What more could a girl want!

I have a serious love of original fabric design, and this Totem screenprinted fabric by lusummers has a beautiful intricate design.

Since being listed on Folksy this Coffee cup cozy by Dolly Knits has been setting the blogs a-fire with admiration. If only I could justify buying it for my coffee run from kitchen to living room...

I'm a vociferous advocate of baby wearing and this Red ring sling by Little Folk is both pretty and functional.

This delectable Strawberry bag charm / keychain by The Apple Cottage Company has such bright, luscious colours.

It's hard to find handmade clothes for boys but this little menace looks pleased as punch to be sporting a funky Tractor scarf by nickynackynoo. Loving his cheeky smile and that sparkle in his eye!

I didn't know needlebooks existed before compiling this treasury, but I'm pretty certain I now need one! I just can't resist this wonderful You ain't nothing but a hounddog needlebook by Paperfish, the colours, the detail, the necessity for organising all my bits and bobs... swoon...

I'm loving the trend for knitting unconventional things. Niftyknits has a shop overspilling with funky knitted creations and these Invicta Morris Dancers are just too cool and quirky.

The great description of this Fierce digital illustration by MakingStrangers says, 'This illustration depicts a 'never judge a book by its cover' situation, i.e. the fierce girl secretly holds a teddy bear and the innocent-looking girl hides a knife.' I'm full of admiration for illustrators, and love the retro feel of this print.

Great minds think alike - I did red last week and featured dolly knits cup holder and the hound dog needlebook from paperfish too.
