  1. Ach. WHY does it always happen at night? Poor you. Oh, and poor Maia, but poor you first.

I'm glad you're still BFFs though. That's one hell of a 'shucks, sorry' face....

  2. I am sorry about the vomit and everything, which is obviously awful, but think you should have devoted more time to wondering where the Spider is. Chances are it'll sneak up on you...

    Hope she's better today.

  4. Am so pleased that it's not just me that spends time wanting to stab my husband when the children are ill!

    Hope tonight is better!

  5. Oh, you poor things!! Why DOES it always have to be at night??? I hope she's feeling better (and cleaner) this morning. I'll also third the stabbing the hubby desire... I am NOT the only one capable of cleaning vomit. And yet.

  6. Hope she feels better soon. It's incredible you are still able to sit in front of the computer and do a chart! I crash if I don't sleep.

Hope she's better and you both get more sleep.

  8. Vomitting really is no fun! Poor Maia...and you of course! I hope things improve very soon.
I've never thought of stabbing, but I have been known to shout expletives in the middle of the night..just to make him jump out of bed and help me..He is great when he's awake!

  10. I'd send virtual hugs but not sure it'd be safe. Have I told you about how I once shoved a full set of vomited-upon bedding in the washing machine without realising it was necessary to rinse it off first? Parboiled vomit, anyone?

  11. In March I had an entire night of this with my daughter when she had stomach flu, it is the worst of things to have to deal with - at least that I have so far experienced. But your pie charts, they made me laugh so hard, quite brilliant. Amberlife recommended your blog site as a great read and she is absolutely right.

  12. Oh, I know well the anger of cleaning a vomit-ridden bed and child while the husband snores away or stands uselessly nearby asking "what should I do?" - hope you get a nap today!

  13. Urgh Nifty..I did that once too. Mainly because I couldn't face doing anything else with it..bad idea!!
Lucy was up all night being sick...Michael stayed asleep all night, even when Lou nearly choked and I was getting a little stressed. He woke up in the morning, cross that I hadn't woken him up for work!! Stab the husbands!!
