Bittersweet bicycles

A customer sent me some beautiful bicycle fabric to be made into something for her daughter (remember The Coolest Girl in the World?) and I fell in love. It's called Dream Bikes by Heather Ross and you absolutely cannot find it anymore. Which is pretty much a crime against humanity, because it's gorgeous.

The challenge was that she only had a scrap left, less than a yard and a bit irregular. Luckily she had plenty to coordinating dotty fabric to send my way too.

And I managed to squeeze this out of it! I love it so much, I wish I could keep it. In fact, I wish I could wear it.

  4. Loks fab! I love Heather Ross fabric. I wasted an hour yesterday fruitlessly looking for her campervan fabric after coming across it by chance looking for camping theme fabric online! I wanted some sweet tent prints, but could only find American camping themes which feature lots of hunting paraphenalia! Maybe I wil have to make my own! Her blog is full of her sweet illustrations.

  9. Yummy.
I love Heather Ross' camper van fabric which is becoming rarer than hen's teeth these days.
I have about a metre of it in pink that I just cannot bring myself to cut into!
So when you going to start making your patterns in grown up sizes, hmmm?
