Excitement in triplicate
Reasons to be excited today:

I made a jacket. It is very pretty.

This is not me. Which means I've made an adult jacket for someone else. My angst about selling to other ladies with different bodies to mine was aleviated because Anna is in Edinburgh and we had visits for fittings and to make sure she was happy with the way it's been going.

I've tweaked the pattern and taken all the photos necessary for the tutorial so this pattern will be coming out very soon in the first two sizes.

Stop staring at me
To give you a break from my relentless posting of pictures of me, how about you check out these pictures of other people:

This is Maxine modelling her asymmetrical jacket. She doesn't like showing pictures of her face because she looks about twenty years younger than her actual age and she doesn't want us all to hate her for it. At least that's what I think.

I love these big buttons.

And this is Rachel's asymmetrical jacket.

Being a very clever lady indeed, it has an inner-lining of fleece for warmth.

A lot of you will recognise this little girl, and indeed, probably these very same pictures as I stole them from Vonnie's blog. This is the dress I made for her to wear to her baby sister's christening.

And the polkadot reverse side.

Isn't this picture beautiful?!

Hands up if you're awesome!

So I bit the bullet, and didn't even break my teeth
So lots of people have been asking if I make adult coats. And now I do:

I drafted this last night and it actually sewed up perfectly. Including the armholes, God is obviously smiling down on me after yesterday's post. I made an retiree take these pictures. He's doesn't think I'm weird at all.

And the 'I'm a coward and always were black side'. You can see better from this picture that it's an asymmetrical collar coat.

I was kinda shocked how long adult arms are. Being a body dysmorphic, it's too big but I think it's still wearable. What do you think?
a. Wear it outside the house, with impunity!
b. Wear it outside the house, on the way to the asylum.
c. Wear it inside the house, when no one else is around.
