It conceals a pocket with enough space for two lots of bus fare. It supposed to be for emergencies so no more of that pesky, 'I can't come home quickly to rescue you from the children because I have to go to the bank first and then break my note at the shop for bus fare.' But seeing that his wallet was empty last night and I had to fill it with my very own money this morning, I'm not 100% certain that it'll be stocked for long. Or used for emergencies only.
Being uber-masculine, I didn't have too much license on the fabric choices so I used the same print I used for his Ipod cozy. I think it's cute enough that I'll make myself one with much snazzier fabric. With a pocket for cyanide.
That is sheer brilliance on a stick!!
ReplyDeleteIf ever I needed any more evidence that you are indeed a GENIUS, then this is it. Just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteCyanide!! Made me laugh at my desk!
ReplyDeleteLove it, big style!
ReplyDeleteno, not cyanide. valium maybe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and practical! I'd use something like that - any chance of a tutorial? It would make an excellent gift for several people I know!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! We have exactly the same £1.20 dilemma every morning. Mind you, him losing the car keys yesterday was traumatic enough, I don't think our marriage would survive if he lost such a nifty fabric based gift!
ReplyDeleteWhat Nickynackynoo said! You are ace. That is sooo cool! Infact I have just recommended you as a craft blog...did you email them after we spoke a while ago?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!! Just what my OH needs too.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I have two teenage daughters at home and the same problem with change for bus fare (... etc.)!
ReplyDeleteWill definitely try this ... the perfect solution, thank you! :o)
