There is hope yet

When I was in my teens and early twenties I thought I should write a book. I even started writing one. But then I had an attack of the doubts; I would never be a good enough writer.

But then I saw this line yesterday, and I was hopeful like the most hopeful person you could ever imagine.

  4. LOL! I'm writing a novel now and wory too about how crappy it's going to turn out and now I'm reading a series by an author that has, oh, two dozen published books and she uses the same word to describe something multiple times in the same sentence. Then they use it in the dialogue to describe it. "The trench was deep...the deepsest trench...couldn't imagine how deep the trench was..."That's a deep trench..."

  5. I think "avocado pear" and "as anonymous as you could hope to get" don't rank that well, either.

  6. What kind of book were you planning on writing? You have enough people here who already enjoy your writing, go for it!

  9. Edit: "That book" = that book you've started writing. And maybe also this book that you've been reading, ha.
